YC Bersatu Biotech Sdn. Bhd. is Malaysia No.1 soy sauce manufacturing in-house technology involves the combination of traditional soya sauce making procedures with new industrial and automation i.e. biotechnology fermentation processes and fermentation in indoor environments.

Fermenting and producing in a controlled indoor environment allows the company proper control of the parameters essential for soya sauce making; which are temperature and humidity.

Uniqueness of the Biotechnology

Upon traditional soya sauce making sector in Malaysia have seen a significant reduction in brands and players, YC Bersatu Biotech Sdn. Bhd. will re-emerge in this sector such as that employing biotechnology, automation and a pragmatic approach to costings. These factors include:

1. Weather and Climate: 

As traditional methods employ exposing the moromi under sunlight in the open; the production is greatly hampered by weather and climate. Our production is employed in a controlled indoor environment; the issue has become non-existent;

2. Workers & Labour: 

Hard labour is required in traditional methods and employs a huge labour force. This is reduced with the deployment of semi-automated machines and processes to better the working conditions in the company; and

3. Consistency of Products (Quality controlled): 

Through proper monitoring, the company has been able to maintain a consistency in the production and the product itself.
